Bledisloe Decider 2019

BLEDISLOE CUP DECIDER

The Bledisloe Cup Decider was a Massive Turnaround from The First Test. NZ showed and implemented The Type of Rugby that will be Needed to WIN The World Cup this Year. Steve Hansen’s 100th Test in Charge will Be Humbly Remembered.

ALLBLACKS

The Allblacks have learnt the value of Consistent Phase Play – Rather than Trying to Score from Anywhere. Keeping The Ball for Multiple Phases means We also have to Support The Carrier at ALL Times and – Keep Control of The Ball.

The GO Forward was Great – with Savea in Particular Showing Great Character. This was one of The Areas of Concern in The Previous Test. The Blacks Addressed this thru Aggression and Determination.

The 2 New Wingers Played with Confidence on Attack and Defense. The Mo’unga/Barret Combo also came to Fruition ( i was Worried about this Combination because Barret is already The Best First 5/8 in The World ). Also Savea Swapped with Reid on The Back of The Scrum. Soony Bill Williams also Played Direct with NO unnecessary Offloads – as seen by his Great Try. All Players did their Jobs. Well Done.

Defense was Top Notch with Whitelock and Reid Performing Well. The Rucks were Attacked more – which gave The ozzies Less Ruck Speed and Created more Turnovers. The Zero Scoreline was Reward for Aggressive Defense – although the aussies Missed 2 Sitters at The Posts.

The Discipline was Better with One Blemish – Dane Coles Manhandling the Halfback – after being warned a minute earlier.  If incidents Like this, Lose a Game at The World Cup in Japan – There will be Major Repercussions. So The Blacks will Need to have a Tight Rein on their Discipline at ALL Times.

Australia

Australia had Few Answers to The Black Onslaught. It was a 80 Point Turnaround from The First Test. They will be Shell Shocked after A Great Performance, Previously. They will Do alot of Soul Searching and Still be a Threat a The World Cup.

CONCLUSION

The AllBlacks have Started Playing a Game that could WIN The World Cup. The Next Test is a Hit Out vs Tonga in 3 Weeks. Then a First Up Game against South Africa at The World Cup. The anticipation is High.

Love to hear your Thoughts on The Game.
